The Cottage Changeover Company

What do our clients say?

"We have a small holiday cottage which we normally look after ourselves. However, on occasions The Cottage Changeover Company have done the change-over for us and we have been very impressed by their thoroughness and the meticulous standard of their work. We will certainly use their services again when the need arises, and highly recommend them to others."

DAVID & ELIZA - ELLERBANK

"We have been using Kelly, Craig and the team at The Cottage Changeover Company for nearly a year now on our 2 AirBnB properties in Sedbergh. We share the calendar, and have built up trust in them that I now concede that Kelly is far more organised than me, cares insanely about her client’s properties and will crack the whip on the team to ensure the 5* reviews keep coming."

NICOLE BALLANTYNE

"Kelly and Craig Matthews, owners of The Cottage Changeover Company, have been cleaning for us for several years. They are very professional, work quickly and efficiently and always leave our property immaculate. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

JOHN AND BARBARA BOWDEN

"I have been using the services of The Cottage Changeover Company for several years and cannot recommend them highly enough. They really do go that extra mile to ensure that our holiday cottage is sparkling clean with lovely little extra touches to wow our guests. Communication is always excellent as is attention to detail and because of this I can relax knowing that our much loved cottage is in good hands."

ANGELA SEFTON

"We have been using The Cottage Changeover Company now for approximately 14 months. They look after the changeovers of our 3 cottages and the standard of cleaning is excellent. They supply total peace of mind that our cottages are cleaned to a high standard and the laundry all taken care of. Their communication is excellent and they always update us on any issues, so that they can be addressed immediately. They check our schedule of bookings and diarize when they need to turn each cottage around. They also use Eco friendly cleaning products which is great for the environment. We really value their service."

MATTHEW & ELLA CLAYTON

"The Cottage Changeover Company have been great partners in our Airbnb venture. Punctual, thorough and helpful, they have been key to our run of 5-star reviews."

PAUL & RICHARD, KIRKBY LONSDALE

"The Cottage Changeover Company have been looking after our holiday cottage for a couple of years. We started using them after being dissatisfied with the previous company we had been using, and could not have wished for better. They are amazingly thorough and their attention to detail is fabulous and massively important to us, as we don’t live locally. We can’t get up very regularly so we need someone who will notice the little things and can keep in touch with us about anything we need to be aware of. They are totally reliable and go over and above to ensure the cottage is ready for guests and kept to a really high standard. Guests regularly comment on the cottage’s cleanliness. The cottage feels well loved and cared for with The Cottage Changeover Company looking after it. We can’t recommend them highly enough."

HEATHER DICKINSON

"We have been running a holiday rental property in Kirkby Lonsdale for five years and have used other cleaning companies in the past but have been frequently disappointed by some of the low standards we have encountered. Fortunately we came across The Cottage Changeover Company almost a year ago and have been using their services ever since. We are delighted with their team and have been hugely impressed by Kelly and Craig's professional approach and attention to detail. They are extremely reliable and do a great job and I would have absolutely no hesitation at all in recommending their services!"

SUZANNE SUTTON

"We have been using The Cottage Changeover Company to assist us with the changeover of our holiday cottage in the Sedbergh area, since February 2019. They have always been reliable, and we have often had comments from our guests commenting on the high standards of cleanliness at Pippin Cottage. We do not live locally, and The Cottage Changeover Company have always assisted with additional tasks such as gardening, which has always been a huge help to us. It is also good to know that they use Eco products. The Cottage Changeover Company is reliable, efficient and trustworthy, and we would recommend them."

KAREN & JO – PIPPIN COTTAGE, SEDBERGH

"Since moving our changeovers and housekeeping to The Cottage Changeover Company, we have been really impressed with their services. They have been friendly, efficient and easy to keep in touch with. The changeovers are being carried out to a high standard with good attention to detail, such as knowing how the house should look and making sure things are moved back to where they should be. They have also been able to respond to all the last-minute bookings we have had.

As they continue to build relationships with local Kirkby Lonsdale businesses, our guests can benefit from locally made chocolates and milk in glass bottles on arrival. We aren’t able to add these unique touches ourselves, so are pleased that The Cottage Changeover Company can do this for our guests, to make their stay extra special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."
